Kristine was born in the Midwest into a music loving family. Her mother swing danced her way into Dad's heart, while Dad's business was tuning and rebuilding pianos. They loved groovin' and sipping martinis to the sounds of Classic American Jazz with friends and family.
After buying her first record, "Love Potion No. 9", she was hooked on rock n' roll. The Beatles, Stones, and Motown took off and the late 60's & 70's were spent in obsessive anticipation of the next album or live concert. Every weekend was spent in Ann Arbor or Detroit enjoying the greatest bands of the era. There were countless parties that needed a deejay and she eagerly became the designated record girl.

After the 1970's, Elvis Costello reawakened her passion for rebellious rock, as the 80's introduced more cerebral electronic sounds, with lyrics that defined new wave & punk. The love affair continued in the 90's with acid jazz/electro funk from bands like Jamiroquai.
Never one to stop seeking the new, Kristine's latest finds include deejays Erlend Oye (Norway), The Glimmers (Belgium), and Tiga (Canada). On any given day she may listen to Madonna, Sade, Daft Punk, Indeep, Bob Marley, Keith Urban, Andy Moor, Jobim, The Clash, Frank Sinatra, Junior Senior, Jimi Hendrix, Crystal Method, Chic, Dido, AC/DC, Thievery Corporation.....all in a day's work!
